Privacy Policy

Short version

This is a test page for Firebase Phone Authentication. If you enter a phone number here, it's sent to Google/Firebase to send you a real SMS code — don't enter a number unless you're comfortable with that.

What happens when you use this page

• The password field is checked locally in your browser — it isn't sent anywhere.
• The phone number you enter is checked against a short local allowlist before anything else happens.
• If it's on the allowlist, an invisible reCAPTCHA challenge runs (provided by Google), and the phone number is sent to Firebase Authentication to send a one-time SMS code.
• The verification code you receive is confirmed through Firebase, not by this page directly.

Who else sees this data

Phone numbers and verification activity submitted through this page are processed by Google/Firebase as part of their Authentication and reCAPTCHA services, governed by Google's Privacy Policy. I don't operate a separate backend or database for this page — I don't collect or store this data myself beyond what's visible in the Firebase project console.

This is a test project

This page exists to demonstrate a phone-verification flow and isn't intended for real accounts or sensitive use. Don't enter a phone number you're not comfortable receiving a test SMS on.

Cookies and local storage

This page doesn't set its own cookies or use browser storage to save anything about you. Google's reCAPTCHA and Firebase services may set their own cookies as part of their normal operation — see their policies linked above.

Children's privacy

This page isn't directed at children and isn't intended to collect information from them.

Changes

If anything about how this page works ever changes in a way that affects privacy, this page will be updated and the date above will change.
